Steve Attends Finger Lakes Labor Council’s Union Night

Last night, I had the chance to connect with folks in the heart of Upstate New York. The hardworking union members and labor leaders who keep our communities strong.

I’m especially grateful for conversations with Patrick Coyle, Chief of Staff at the Rochester and Genesee Valley Area Labor Federation, and Leisa Abraham, Region 3 Coordinator for the Public Employee Federation. Their dedication to protecting working people is exactly what this country needs more of.

We didn’t talk politics. We talked about problems and how to fix them. About how we invest in good-paying jobs, stand up for public workers, and make sure rural communities are never treated as second-class. That’s what drives me every day.

Thanks to everyone who came out. Let’s keep building a movement that delivers for workers. Not just in speeches, but in results.
